While we don’t adhere to a strict process, we have developed a set of guidelines that leads to successful project completions.

Understanding
At the start of every project, I take the time to understand your business, your brand, and your personality. This foundational step is crucial in guiding our strategy and design work. By learning about your unique vision, we can identify marketing goals and appeal to your target audience before approaching any design work.
I will also be asking how you will measure the ROI (return on investment) for this project. That helps me be sure we incorporate the necessary element to measure and ensure success.
For web and logo design projects, I typically use a questionnaire designed to help me view your brand through your own eyes. This process helps me weave your personality into the design work and bring your vision to life.

Strategic Planning
After gaining a deep understanding of your business and brand, we conduct research on your top competitors and industry-specific design trends to better communicate with your target audience. We use this information to plan and execute on-site search engine optimization, ensuring you have a competitive edge from the start.
Sitemap Development
Our strategic planning process includes creating a visual sitemap to map out the hierarchy and relationships of each page on your website.
Wireframing
Before diving into the creative design phase, we establish the website’s information architecture through wireframing. This step ensures a solid foundation for the website’s design and functionality.
Once we’ve finalized the strategy and you’re on board, we can move on to the exciting part – bringing your website to life with creative design!

Creative Design
The creative design phase is where the project begins to take shape. We present polished design concepts based on our design strategy work, and work with you to incorporate any feedback and make adjustments as needed.
Web Design
During this phase of a website design project, we present initial concept work to you before expanding it into the full suite of wireframes developed during the strategy phase. Depending on your audience and needs, we may take a mobile-first design approach.
Print Design
For print design projects, we present a series of initial design concepts for review. Once a concept is chosen, we continue refining it until the final design is approved.

Develop and Test
After the creative design is approved, we move on to the development and testing phase. Our team builds the website using the approved design and ensures that it functions correctly on all devices and browsers. We also test the website to make sure that it is easy to navigate and bug-free.
We use a private development server to host the website during the testing phase. This allows you to interact with the website and provide us with feedback before launching it to the public. We use this feedback to make any necessary adjustments to the website’s design or functionality.
Unlike other agencies, we don’t limit the number of rounds of changes you can make before launch. We work until you’re happy and excited to show the world!

Launch
We go through a meticulous launch process to ensure the smooth deployment of your new website and branding. We run multiple platform and user tests to make sure everything is running as expected. Before launch, we perform a pre-launch checklist to ensure everything is configured correctly.
Website Projects
Sometimes, websites may behave differently on different servers due to varying configurations or installed software. That’s why we test the website on our private development server and make sure everything is working smoothly before migrating it to the production server.
Print Design Projects
We prepare the design files to meet industry standards and your specific printer requirements, then deliver to your print provider. For logo designs, we generate a variety of sizes and file types to make sure they are ready to be used in different mediums and by different media providers.

Support & Growth
We believe that a design project doesn’t end with the launch. After the deployment of your new WordPress website, we provide one-on-one video training to teach you how to edit your website. For static HTML (and WordPress) sites we offer content updating services either on a retainer plan or as needed on an hourly basis.
We also offer retainer plans where we provide monthly website check-ins, 24/7 uptime monitoring, and ongoing support to ensure that your website investment is always safe, secure, and optimized for success.
